So you know how I was complaining about my schedule and just life in general last time I wrote on here? Well it turns out that there are forces in motion to make everything work out the way it is supposed to. After my guidance session I found out that I have the credits of a sophmore in my program and that meant that I got to drop and add some last minute classes. So that means that the Italian class that was really inconvenient in the old schedule was now placed perfectly for a new class I had to take. Funny how life works out sometimes eh?
This week has been pretty good. Everything is starting to settle down, and I was finally able to go grocery shopping again. I spent over $100 so I had better not have missed anything this time. I also have gotten a lot of mail. I now have everything I forgot at home that my mother so helpfully sent in a care package for me. Mom's are great for stuff like that. In second grade you forget your lunch, in high school you forget your 10pg paper, and in college you forget your posters, scriptures... curling iron... yeah hahaha It never seems to end.
Today was especially awesome for one specific reason. I got MAIL!!! Like a real letter with words in it. It was cool. Once upon a time I wrote a letter to my friend Charles while I was in Italy and he was on his mission. It was in a Tardis blue envelope. Cause we both like Doctor Who and all and so I decided to be true to my nerdy self. Anyway three months later I got a reply! Awesome right? He wrote a full three pages of relevant cool stuff. I have written to many missionaries in my time and he definitely wins the award for best letter writer. To those who care and have not written to him (cough cough... Alisa... cough Alex...cough cough) He is doing well. He gets to talk to a lot people, doesn't necessarily have alot of success, claims to be more humble.... hahaha cause we all know that is one of his stronger personality traits. ;D Anyway he's good, but the point was that I like hearing from my friends.
And to be nice to those who would like to finally see my portfolio I will now reveal the photographs that helped me earn a place in the BYU Dept. of Fine Arts.
