This morning I received 2 letters that looked like this one. I applied to two different majors on November 30th.
Photography and Art Education.
I made it into Art Education!!! Unfortunately the Photography Department rejected me a second time. The point is however that I HAVE A MAJOR!!! I don't have to transfer or choose something else. I get to stay at BYU and do art and have a fantastic time because it's what I love to do. I will still be doing photography on the side and learning as much about it as I can. But I will be working on something else for my major. :D Thanks to everyone who wished me luck or sent prayers my way. God knew what was best for me and obviously He thought I should do Art Ed.
Well I've been home again for a while and amoung other notable events I watched several movies, got into a snowball fight where I got whitewashed and volunteered with little kids to help make gingerbread houses. It's been fun, but I am happy for all my awesome friends from BYU to be home. It was starting to get a bit boring there after a bit.
In other news I convinced someone to read Harry Potter who previous refused to based on their own laziness. My life is now complete hahaha. Merry Christmas! I'll update more when school is back in session. For now it will be sporadic.
Well, we went to Provo and I successfully found a place to live. In the words of Maddie - I am not going to be a homeless vagrant next semester. I found an apartment that I think is super nice. 4 girls, 2 bathrooms, giant bedrooms, washer and dryer. Yep it's a sweet deal and It's close to all my really good friends :D
After finalizing housing plans we went skiing in Brighton. My dad and I had a private half day lesson and then skied for another hour or two. Skiing is so hard. Basically I spent the whole time trying not to fall off a mountain. I'm better at it than I was before.
Yesterday we stopped down in Moab, and we saw Arches. Now we are in Cortez to hang with some of the fam and ooh and ahh over the new baby. He is so cute. He was a little grumpy today but once he was chilled out he was super cute
A girl with big dreams, crazy ideas, and plans to make it all happen.
